Novatron M500 Monolight - 500 w-s Variable w/SlaveNovatron M500 Monolight - 500 w-s Variable w/Slave Detail : The Novatron M500 Monolight is fan-cooled and has two power ranges of 500 watt-secs (HI) and 125 watt-secs (LO) with each range being fully variable over a 2-1/2+ f-stop range. This gives the M500 a total range of slightly over 5 full f-stops. The unit also has an internal slave trigger that may be disabled if desired. A unique, feature of this monolight is the addition of a special sliding mount that provides convenient adjustment of head position. This makes it possible to maintain perfect balance regardless of whether you are using a 5 foot soft box or no light modifiers at all.The M500 also comes equipped with an F0005, 1000 watt-second plug-in flash tube that is color corrected to 5500 degrees Kelvin (daylight film), a 150-watt halogen modeling lamp, an 18 foot power cord, a 2032 Reflector, and a 4045 universal mounting bracket with a 3-1/2'' tilt lever handle. This lever handle allows the bracket to be tightened more securely with less hand pressure. This bracket also has a universal adapter base which allows it to mount to either a standard 5/8'' stud or a smaller 3/8'' tube/stud.
